Why book DJ Kim as your female DJ
A defined sound, not a jukebox
Warm afro house at sunset, driving melodic techno at peak time. You know what you are booking: a coherent sound that builds across the night, rather than a request list stitched together track by track.
Hear the recorded sets →The floor decides the next record
Nothing is pre-planned. Each record is chosen live in response to the room, reading when to lift and when to hold. It is why promoters can book her again and never hear the same set twice.
Proven in real rooms
She has played Ministry of Sound and Egg London, Pulse in Dubai, and Hammerzz and Raeeth in Goa, with a 4.9 promoter rating. Club formats suit rooms of 300 to 3,000, and festival sets crowds of 3,000+.

Booking Questions
ANSWERED PLAINLYHow much does it cost to hire a female DJ?
There is no standard rate for any DJ (see the DJ hire cost guide). DJ Kim's fee is quoted per booking and depends on the date, city, set length and travel. International bookings also cover return flights and a minimum 4-star hotel for her and her manager. Send your details for a quote.
What is a female DJ called?
Simply a DJ. You will also see 'lady DJ', common in India, and 'DJane' in parts of Europe, but most artists, DJ Kim included, just use DJ. When booking, the useful questions are about sound and experience, not the label.
Is DJ Kim a female techno DJ?
She plays melodic techno and afro house: afro house for sunset and warm-up slots, melodic techno for peak time. She is not a hard or industrial techno DJ, so she suits rooms that want a melodic, driving sound rather than a relentless one.
Can I book DJ Kim in London, Dubai or Goa?
Yes. DJ Kim is based in London and plays regularly in Dubai and Goa, where she has played Pulse, Hammerzz and Raeeth. She also takes worldwide bookings for 2026 and 2027, with 2026 dates limited.
Does DJ Kim play weddings?
She plays the wedding after-party, the late-night dance floor once the formal part is over, and an earlier sunset set by agreement. For Bollywood or sangeet music, couples book a separate wedding DJ alongside her.
Can I hear DJ Kim play before booking?
Yes. Full recorded sets are on the live sets page: a yacht party and a set at Raeeth, both filmed in Goa in 2025, plus two melodic techno and afro house mixes. Promoters can also download bios, photos and the rider from the press kit.
