What a good Christmas party DJ does with your night
The dance floor after the speeches
The first part of an office party is for conversation: arrivals, drinks, dinner and speeches. DJ Kim's set starts when the dance floor opens. If you want music through dinner as well, an earlier low-level set can be added as an extended set, agreed when you book.
How the night builds
Once the formal part is done, the tempo builds from afro house into driving melodic techno. Nothing is pre-planned: every record is chosen live off the floor, so the build follows how your team is actually responding rather than a playlist written weeks earlier.
Hear the recorded sets →A sound for a stylish crowd
This is not Christmas pop. It suits teams and guests who would rather hear a club sound than a festive singalong. If you want the classics too, many hosts add a band or party act earlier in the evening.

In the Christmas party season, December Fridays and Saturdays are usually the first dates to go. This is the order most hosts work through, from first enquiry to the night itself.
| When | What to do | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| September–October | Send the date, city and venue; you hear back on availability within two working days | Date, guest numbers, start and finish times, set length |
| Once the venue is confirmed | Share the venue's technical spec against her rider | 2 × Pioneer CDJ-3000 on wired PRO DJ LINK, DJM-A9 mixer, two full-range booth monitors |
| 4–6 weeks before | Agree the running order of the night | Arrivals, dinner, speeches or awards, when the dance floor opens, venue curfew |

Booking Questions
ANSWERED PLAINLYHow much does a Christmas party DJ cost?
DJ Kim's fee is quoted per booking, based on the date, city, set length and any travel for her and her manager. December weekends are the busiest dates of the year. See what affects DJ hire cost, then send your details: every enquiry gets a reply within two working days.
How far in advance should you book a DJ for a Christmas party?
As soon as your date and venue are fixed. December Fridays and Saturdays go first, and her 2026 dates are limited, so September and October are the time to enquire. Parties in Dubai, Goa or elsewhere abroad also need time for flights, hotels and permits.
What music should a DJ play at an office Christmas party?
Music that follows the night: off for speeches, then building once the dance floor opens (an earlier low-level set through dinner can be added by agreement). DJ Kim does that with afro house into melodic techno. If your team wants Christmas pop singalongs, pair her with a band or party act.
How long does a DJ play at a Christmas party?
Her standard set is 60 to 120 minutes, which suits the dance floor after dinner and speeches. If you want her playing from arrivals through to the venue curfew, an extended set is available by agreement when you book.
What equipment does the venue need to provide?
Two Pioneer CDJ-3000s linked by wired PRO DJ LINK, a Pioneer DJM-A9 mixer and two full-range booth monitors with their own level at the mixer. She plays from USB, with no laptop. The full rider is in the press kit.
Can DJ Kim play a Christmas party in Dubai or Goa?
Yes. Both are regular markets: she plays Pulse in Dubai and has played Raeeth and Hammerzz in Goa. Company parties, villa and yacht celebrations are all possible. Booking New Year too? See New Year's Eve DJ bookings.
